Manager: Business Development, Sales & Key Accounts

The position of BD & Sales Manager is a key member of the commercial management team, driving sales revenue through the development and support of key partners and key accounts. This position will be based out of the company HQ/Office of the CEO from Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, Ireland. Applicants must have the ability to work from the West of Ireland and have all necessary work permits.

Goals

Deliver sales revenue by:

• Developing new accounts.

• Supporting existing key accounts.

• Replicating key application solutions across target market sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work with CEO on development and implementation of strategic business development and sales plan.

• Seamless handover of key account management from CEO.

• Development of new key accounts.

• Replication of selected key application solutions.

• Provide technical consultancy and customer support to our customers as needed through direct support and liaison with designated NuWave Technology team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BEng/BSc degree in Science / Engineering / IT in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record in technical sales and business development.

• Experienced sales & account management.

• A broad practical knowledge of relevant technology.

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Good communications skills (oral/written) and the ability to work in a team and independently as required. 

• Ability to show initiative and manage projects in an independent manner as required.

• Planning and organising resources and activities, including setting and meeting deadlines.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

• Willingness to travel on company business as required.
